Jusuf Buxhovi

Jusuf Buxhovi "(born 4 August 1946 in Peć, Democratic Federal Yugoslavia) is an Kosovar-Albanian poet, journalist and historian〔"Kosova" I,II,III, historiogaphy. Publisher "Faik Konica" - Pristina & "Jalifat Publishing" - Houston, 2012.〕 He attended primary and secondary schools in Gjakova and he studied Albanian language and literature at the University of Pristina. In 1977 he started graduate studies at the Department of History in University of Pristina, then in 1979 he graduated with his thesis "The League of Prizren in German archives".
He started his career as a journalist at "Rilindja" newspaper on 1967, starting as culture journalist, and later as newspaper editor. From 1976 to 2000, he was permanent correspondent of this newspaper, accredited in Bonn, Germany. After its closure, he worked as a freelance publicist.
